Pumpkin Brownies with Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients
  

The Brownies

  • 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 3/4 cup Butter Melted
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 tsp Vanilla

Cream Cheese Icing

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • 3 tbsp Butter Softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

For the Brownies

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 or 8x8 baking dish with butter.
  • Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice in a bowl and set aside.
  • Melt the butter and then add it to a mixing bowl along with both the granulated and brown sugar. Beat until creamy and then add in the pumpkin puree.
  • Add in the eggs one at a time and then add the vanilla.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients, and then pour the batter into the greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until there are only a few crumbs if you insert a toothpick or knife. Allow to cool.

For the Cream Cheese Icing

  • Beat the softened cream cheese and softened butter before slowly adding in the powdered sugar and vanilla.
  • Beat on high for 2-3 minutes until it is light, creamy and fluffy.
  • Spread on top of the cooled brownies and enjoy!
